Seeing the sights, again!

Woke up at 6:00 am rolled up the bedding, ate breakfast and we were back on the road again. On our way I got lost and ran into Wal-mart. A familiar place! Got dog food and aproached by some druggies. They needed any spare change to get oil for their car. I thought to myself, I should probably get them a quart while inside just to make sure that they don't spend it on drugs. But then I thought who the hell cares if they get drugs, maybe they will over dose and get another chance to get it right! Well I gave them the $ and they hopped in their car and took off without the oil. What ever! After getting the hell out of Anchorage we went to Portage Glacier Park. The kids loved it. We got to see the biggest iceberg I have ever seen! And of cours it rained the whole trip back, which made the scenery that much more beautiful! Everywhere you look there are waterfalls! Lars called and said that the gig was great and that he gets to go on the Charter boat to catch some Halibut and Salmon. Yea! We get some more Halibut! We made it back in just enough time to go video the boat comming in and the fish be displayed. He caught a 35 and 45 lb. Halibut and 2 5 pound Salmon. Oh yea! When he got off the boat he was covered in more blood then the fish. He cut himself while bringing in the big one! I bandaged him up and we went to filetting the fish! The girls have never seen a Halibut except on Finding Nemo, and that isn't half as scary as one in real life. Trace wanted to cut open the stomach to see what they ate. There was a rock, a shrimp, and a clam. No wonder why they taste so good, they eat better than we do! The deck hand cut the ear bones out so the girls can make earings! They are Ivory. Before we left the dock the girls had 2 boys giving them their #'s. I can't wait til we get to King cove!
