The hired help!

Got up early today it was raining and the swells out on the bay were 6 ft. high. Thte fog blanketed the water and sent out fisherman home short handed. The phone rang and on the other line was a good friend of ours from Park City, Andy Baily. He had just arrived in Ninilchik to pay a visit to his "Alaskan Friends", US! He will be visiting for a week and head back home. I think that he was just making sure that we were where we said we were!(smile) There was a group that chartered the boat and came in with 5 fish. THe biggest one was caught by a 10 year old girl named Brandi. Saije made friends with her real quick. After the food was cooked, the kids hit the sauna and the adults split up into groups of 4 and played spades. Spades is really big out here. It was fun meeting the people, hearing fishing stories and playing music. The life of a fisherman and the dreams of my husband.
