As time goes by there are subtle changes that come over us. Height, weight, and wrinkles! Well that won't be happening to these beautys for quite some time. We wish each of you a Very Happy Birthday, and with every year that you embrace, may those memories never be forgotten. We love you! Mom and Dad
You don't have to grow up where you are born....but you should always grow where ever you decide to live!

3 Day Basketball Blackout!
The basketball team from Cordova came for a 3 day basketball tormament. Lars and I helped out in concessions and Trace cheered fromt the stands while hanging out with his good friend Gabriel. Saije and the cheer squad have been coming up with some sweet cheers and fast paced dances. Hopefully they will get to go to State and compete to be the Cheer Champs!
Go Yakutat Eagles! Saije is still on the honor roll and starts her internship with the Forrest Service on Thursday. Trace has started soccer, and I found out the day of the first game that Lars and I were the coaches. Thanks Trace!? Ya his teacher asked if he wanted to play soccer and if his parents would be interested in coaching and he said yes. We are very glad, now we get to watch his games and be apart of his sucess. We are really enjoying being a part of Yakutat. The children are a major focus in the community.

Happy New Year 2009
Our New Year began nice and quiet. Since the girls all went back home, we just tiddied up the home, packed up Christmas and watched the Star Wars collection, requested by Muck! He says he wants to be an actor in the Next making of anything to do with Star Wars or even an Army flick. Ofcourse he wants to be the one who uses a BIG GUN! About 10:00pm we got a call to step out on our beck and watch the fireworks out on the Ferry Dock and what a display it was. They lasted for about 45 min and Trace screamed the whole time. Even the nieghbors began to scream with him. Here are a few shots including the Christmas Boat that is all decorated and cruised around the bay through out the Christmas Season. Happy New Year to you all and God Bless You All!

The Larsen/Bowler Family Christmas
As We drove around seeing the sights, we took in all the beautiful scenery. The beach was a the main attraction. Even though it was very cold the kids (mainly Trace) ran around on the beach and played with a stray dog that want to play fetch with a stick that he brought with him. I love seeing the ocean crash onto the beach lined with pine trees it was awesome! The shot of the kids is from shortest to tallest Muck is almost as tall as Amanda, then Elyse, Neisha, Saije & Jocelyn is of course the tallest of them all!
